I am going to moving An Iwatsu phone system .and was just wondering if I need to do anything before powering down .The system is about 19 inch wide 13 inches deep & 13 inches high.I only have a picture so far .This is a small out fit 6 x6

Make sure you get a complete database download before you power down...

I dont know anything about this system .Do you think I could loose the data base by power it down and relocating it to another location and re installing .I am more of a NEC/Nortel/Mitel tech just tring to make a living as a sub contractor

I'm not sure which Iwatsu system you are describing, but regardless, just like most phone systems, the Iwatsu has a battery that holds system programming. There usually is no problem with removal of power for a period of time, but it's all dependent upon the battery condition.

There IS the option of transporting it using (Why didn't I think of that!) a UPS to keep it 'smart'. And of course, their's probably needs a battery, so sell them a NEW UPS. smile

The systems is labled Iwatsu ADIX (OMEGA PHONES) it looks clean everthing is labled .I think I be ok .
