I have a customer that has an Auto Attendant answering during the day. They have it so if you can dial the extension number. The customer says when you do that it will ring the extension 20+ times before going to that persons voice mail. He also says even if you hang up the voice mail still picks up and records dial tone. Shouldn't the Call Fwd No Answer timer fix this? I had him change it but he says it still does the same thing. I would of thought having that at 12sec and having it set it N/A would have it ringing 3-4 times then going to vm. Am I missing something? Its an APS v8.

If the voice mail is still recording dial tone after a caller has hung up, you need to check your trunk settings for disconnect detection, and verify disconnect signaling form the CO
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
