Hi all I am not very good with the IWATSU system at all, if anyone can help me I am trying to set an extension inside of our network to forward to a phone number outside our network. I really have no Idea how to do this, our company uses the IWATSU programmer to set all this up. Any help that can be explained as simple as possible is appreciated. Thanks a bunch

Register the outside number you wish to call as a personal speed dial number at the extension you would like to forward: Press FEAT + SPEED + 90 then dial the number to forward to. Press FEAT again when finished.
Set that extension to forward all calls to the appropriate speed dial bin number.
Press ICM + FWD + 14 + 90. The system will beep three times to acknowledge your entry. Press the SPKR key to finish.
TO cancel the forwarding, press ICM + FWD + * + 1.
Three beeps means you did it right. Press SPKR to finish.

On our IX-12KTD-3 phones, there is no "FWD" button. I'm guessing that means it's a soft button that would've had to been programmed during installation, right?
Is there any way to add it myself? I'm pretty good with small phone systems like this (ADIX).

If you have an ADIX system, there is no provision for end-user programming at the station level, so you'll need a vendor visit to add the buttons.
Call FWD is usually a default key on most patterns. Check the top row of your phone's programming, if it's a display phone, by pressing FEAT, #, 9 then pressing a button. The display will show how that button is programmed. You may have a FWD button, but just don't know it...
