I added a 16PSUB card to a remote location on an ECS ver. 2.0. I put it in slot 65 & 66 and recognized the card. When I tried programing the VCIF's at the main location it gave me an error 9 on the power supply and the programming did'nt take. I think I may have programmed the VCIF's wrong. Which fields should be omitted when programming the VCIF's or is that a funky slot.

You have to create VCIFs for the main KSU and the remote KSU. The VCIF at the main switch will be numbered sequentially by the the number of VCIF cards you are installing. If these are the first VCIFs you're installing, they'll be VCIFs 1 and 2 at the main switch. You need 2 because a VCIF only supports 8 ports. The VCIF number at the remote side will be based on its LOGICAL location rather than sequential number. If you use a card number in the same slot that your remote MBU is in, for example, use the first 2 card numbers listed in that slot, then associate those card numbers with cards 66 and 67.

I think my programming is correct. This may be a licensing issue. My license for the in the main system has an ECS IP Campus Remote, Qty 1, Total 1. The remote system was equipped for 48 ports before I added the 16PSUB card in the remote system. Do you know how many ports my license will support.

I also noticed you said associate cards 66 and 67. I have been programming cards 65 and 66. Which is correct ?

Cards 65 and 66 are probably correct at your site. I was looking at some similar programming on another switch I maintain while composing my answer.
As far as licensing goes, how many total ports are licensed at the main system after all your IP Campus licenses are installed? How many ports are licensed at the remote site? If the remote site is an ECS-S licensed for 48 ports only, you'll need to upgrade the licenses at the remote to accommodate the 16 new ports.
