I inquired last year about the voice mail card in the Iwatsu ADIX and it nothing seemed to work. The cheapest card I found was $950.00 and my customer doesn't want to spend that much. I don't blame them. I pulled out an Aleen AA/VM unit from a customer because it the clock is whacked. I want to install it here because the customer runs the same message all the time so the clocking doesn't matter. What I'm trying to figure out is how to direct the direct the trunks to analog ports that will be used for the Aleen and the delay ring timer to it. They do live answer unless they are busy at which time the AA will pick up on the 3rd or 4th ring. I see the delay ring timer in class 04.16. Is that one of the objectives I'm looking for. Thanks. JD

You can integrate a good number of third party voice mail systems with an ADIX. You need to configure your analog ports as VM/AA in Class 1, put all your analog voice mail ports into the voice mail hunt group, then set your lines to delay ring to that hunt group.
You then need to change integration parameters in Class 4 to match the needs of your voice mail system.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
