Hi,
We have a couple of phones in common areas that multiple people use. They have MSG buttons on the phones but the button always wants to go to the voicemail box of the extension. I'm wondering if we can make it go to a general login prompt where it asks for the mailbox number and the password?
We have an ADIX system and a Telephony Office Linx voicemail system. If you need version info I can try to get it.

The general log in prompt for Office Linx is the main menu. The button on the phone is programmed as MBOX0-this tells the voice mail system to log in to the box associated with that extension number.
The easiest thing to do is call the voice mail system using the hunt group access code, press '#' when it answers and log in to whatever box you'd like.
Alternatively, you could assign an MBOX button for each mailbox in question and allow one-touch log in for each mail box. You associate mailbox numbers to MBOX numbers in Class 35,
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
