Check out Asterisk.org, I am currently working on a IP PBX. The Asterisk Software is Open Source and Free however I am finiding it hard to setup but I am a Windows guy just learning linux.

You will find it a never ending pit. If you have alot of time and you phones aren't mission critical Asterisk is pretty neat to play with.
