Like toner said, as long as you only need a single IP, just use the DMZ port, otherwise set up a router using the ip of the dmz port and route all voip traffic through it.

The Toshiba IP card will not work behind NAT. I've set up several with their own public IP with no problems. The only other way is VPN.

As for phones on the internal network, they look for the public IP of the card and will go through a router to get there.

Tell the CG that there aren't any common ports open on the BIPU and the system is programmed with the MAC address of the phone, so there's no need for security.

Hi everyone! I just setup our BIPU and two IP phones - the problem is they work wonderfully on the LAN, but when I took one of them home to try and test it, it connects to the BIPU and I can make calls, and recieve calls, but no one can hear me - I can hear everything though. I pointed the DMZ from our router to the card, and didn't put the phone behind a router at my house (I tried, and I couldn't hear anything or recieve calls). Anyone have any ideas I can try?

Thanks
Allan
