Anybody know if it is possible to get a ringback tone, MOH, or any kind of sound when a call is transferred thru voicemail to an extension on an IDS 228 ver 9.2.2? Customer would like to hear something so that when the call attempts to ring the extension, you don't get dead air. Thanks in advance, Scott

Do you have a MOH source hooked-up to the EVCM or VCM card?
That will take care of it.
If all else fails, use a BFH.

That will take care of it. Thanks JJ, I think it is connected, but will check to see if it works. I was under the impression that the ACPU ver provided MOH on transfer, but not the 228 (was told this by another executone tech) Thans again for the response

Glad to hear you got it working.
Dead air on transfer is the number one cause of callers hanging-up and calling back. They think they where disconnected.
Good Job!!
If all else fails, use a BFH.
