Currently, when someone dials another extension the called extension will hear 2 short beeps and then the phone goes into a "HF" like mode. (The called extension does not have to pick up the handset to carry on a conversation. Don't know if this is the same as auto-answer or not.) I know that if you dial a "1" then the extension number it will cause the phone to ring and the called extension will have to actually pick up the handset to answer the icm call. If the callee does not hear the beeps or if they are out of the office it creates a hot mike situation with other office members unaware that the mike is hot.
Is there a way to set this "forced handset pick up" on a station by station basis.
We have an IDS 108 using Eclipse 2.0.0. Thanks

That did it. Earlier had tried setting the "Hands Free ICM to N" thinking that it but as you know that didn't work. Guess I should have tried the other setting. Thanks.
