I am looking for a reasonable place to buy SIP trunks. I am going to setup a Trixbox in the office and starting using it and getting familar with it. I have ordered the static IP from my internet provider, and I have the box built, and a couple of Polycom 650s. I will probably install a softphone too. I found a couple of places that just charge by usage, but I wanted to find out what you guys think about getting trunks, and how many? I am only going to be making test calls and demo calls for now, so the most I can see me needing is 3 or 4 simultaneous calls, but mostly just 1 or 2.

I'll second the recommendation on CallCentric -- had a few minor issues with trunks from them, but they've always been incredibly responsive. Issues were all related to provisioning as well -- once they've been up, they've been absolutely solid.

I second Callcentric. I have a customer who uses them entirely for 5 store locations. About 3 channels at each location. Dirt cheap.

I've been using Callcentric too for over 2 years now.. very good all around and the best thing is the price. You can't go wrong with Callcentric.
