Customer is moving their service from Speakeasy VoIP to Comcast. Comcast will be providing 8 analog lines + DHCP internet service. Wondering if it is compatible with their current equipment or if they will need to purchase anything new.
Covad T1 8-Port LAN Router (which is then split into two switches, one for voice & one for data…)
Cisco Linksys IP phones, model # SPA942.
I haven't seen the site yet will see it on Tuesday, but believe that Speakeasy is delivering analog lines at this time.

anyone familiar with Speakeasy as an ISP, do they deliver analog lines?
also, can Linksys SPA942 handle more than 4 lines?

Not familiar with Speakeasy.
The SPA942 is a 4-line phone, but that doesn't mean you can only have four DID numbers. That all depends on the backend.
Since Comcast will be providing 8 analog lines, you'll need some kind of phone system. Unless you want to configure some sort of Asterisk based system, you'll probably need to scrap the SPA942s.
