I've got a situation with a CIX100 with an LIPU for internal and an MIPU for external. The External port has a public IP and goes straight out. The remote sites (1 att and 1 comcast) both have one way communication. We need intercom and it's not working. At the Comcast site we can make outbound calls and everything works as expected. At the ATT site we can't get voice at all but the call does go through.
System: CIX100 with Expansion Cabinet LIPU/S Internal IP MIPU 12port External IP iES32 with Flash Voicemail
We have 13 internal phones and 3 remote phones 2 at the Comcast internet site and 1 with the potential of 2 at the ATT site.
Comcast site: Phones setup to go to the MIPU public IP address internet router is a Netgear that's acting as as an inbound firewall but no outbound restrictions.
ATT site: Phones setup to go to the MIPU public IP address and the internet router is the ATT Provided router with no outbound restrictions.
Please help!
I'm an MCSE that got Toshiba Certified at my last job but apparently the certification doesn't follow you as I can't call anymore to tech support.

Sound like the other sites are behind a router - you would need to do some port forwarding to pass the voice through (I assume those sites can't hear)
A far better option would be to setup a VPN between the 3 sites - then all devices could talk on private addresses.

This user also ported to the Toshiba forum and replied that he found the NAT no Peer to peer option.
VPN tunnels can help solve some NAT transversal issues. In this case of intercoming on Toshiba, the phones try to setup a direct Peer to peer connection between IP phones. With 2 phones behind 2 different netorks, this is impossible. Enabling the setting tells the phone to send all audio through the PBX.
