Has anyone used this product Konexx Mobile Konnector. https://www.konexx.com/mobile_konnector.htm
Or, can anyone recommend a similar product?
We have a need to allow our customers to "dial out" through our existing phone system (Executone IDS 108) using the modem in their laptop. Managment would like to explore options like this one.
Thanks

Just use 12 port single line cards and set ports for prime line. Works like a champ.

Ther are many other devices that let you share lines for modem use.

If all else fails, use a BFH.

Yes,
I have used it. There is a modification that manufacturer needs to do for the ids system. I think there is 1 resistor they need to change the value of... Other than that I could connect at 28.8 with no problem. Never tried anything faster.

Thanks for the info.
JJ, I'll look into the 12 port single line card option.

Dr. John, One of my co-workers emailed the manufacturer to verify compatability but I will follow up with them concerning any mods that might be required.

JJ,
Just checking, wouldn't I be dedicating one of the lines for "dial out". If so wouldn't that mean I would "lose" one of my available lines for the rest of the system.

I used the product for about 6 months in the late 90's. worked good when you didn't have an anaolg port available. Only draw back is the 28.8 speed
