Several years ago I saw some cat5 4pair that had a buried service rating. This was black jacket iky-pic stuff! Anyone know a manufacturer that makes it?

We use Beldon or General Cable for all of our school portable runs.

Just about all manufacturers make it now. E-Bay has tons of it for sale on a fairly regular basis.

What distributor do you usually buy your cable from? They would be the first place to inquire. I doubt if a manufacturer would be willing to sell you any directly. I get mine from GrayBar.

I think that by searching "direct burial" on E-Bay, there is plenty of stuff available, including CAT6. Take a look HERE .

Jim, if you are just looking for a cut piece for a small job, I can help you with that.
