Phone System: IDS 108 with Eclipse V2.
User received an outside call. He then used the Add On Conference feature to call another outside party. He was able to hold the conference with no problem. When the conference call was over the parties hung up then the user hung up. (I'm pretty sure that the ouside lines hung up first. but I can verify later) Even though it appeard that everyone was disconnected, I had 2 CO lines that, on the C screen, showed a Stat of ADD ON and the extension. As a result these 2 lines were not available to the system. Luckily it was a slow time of day and I was able to ctrl-G to get them released.
Any ideas on why they would hang open like that? Thanks

Could be a lack of disconnect supervision. If you want to release the lines without resetting the entire system go to the F screen and reset the co ports in question.Alot easier than resetting everything.

I tried to reset the extension from the f screen but never even thought about resetting the CO's from there. I'll chck into the unsupervised issue. Thanks.

definitely use the "F" screen to reset the lines. could be a polarity issue with the CO lines causing them to not release. TJ
