I can attach to my EVX using the settings TVI925, xmodem, software flow control, 9600, N, 8,1, direct connect - com1.

I use to be able to connect to the KSU using TVI920, xmodem, hardware flow control (I think), 9600, N, 8, 1, direct connect - com1, but no longer can.

I use Procomm 4.3 and have tried to reinstall procomm, used differnt parameters tvi920, tvi950, changed flow controls, rebooted KSU and PC, checked all of connections but have had no luck reconnecting to the IDS228 KSU.

Can anyone offer any suggestions

Maybe your RS232 port went bad...I had a bad one on a IDS-42. Try dialing into it and see if you get in. I assume you weren't toggling around with the protocol options in syst. program screen last time you were in..and left it on a different setting when you got out..of course unlikely...that's another possibility I can think of other than maybe a faulty cpu.
