Does anyone, besides Polycom, repair Polycom "audio" products? I have an out-of-warranty SoundPoint Pro SE-225 that needs some work, and Polycom wants to charge me an "incident fee" JUST TO PROVIDE AN RMA (not diagnose or provide tech support over the phone, mind you), IN ADDITION TO the actual repair cost! Of course, if they simply included that in the quoted price to repair the phone, I wouldn't be balking, except for the fact that with it added in, it puts the repair cost that much closer to the cost to purchase a new unit. The other quirky thing about this is that Polycom will only accept credit card for that initial fee, but then will accept a purchase order (or credit card) for the actual repair.
Thanks!
Justin

We have repaired them on a case by case basis. What is it doing or not doing?

It's actually just the power connector. It's either the cord plug or the connector in the phone, where it plugs in. When you barely move the cable, it power-cycles.

It sounds like an easy fix. I tried to send a PM but your box is full.

Hello,
I'd also like a referral for Polycom repair if you have an referrals please.
Also, any good sources for clean, good priced refurbs?
I have two Soundstations to get repaired (one is missing power supply) and I need to buy another one ASAP.
Thanks!

You're probably not going to get a reply on a topic that's well over two years old. I suggest starting a new topic. Locking this one.
