This may seem like a duh question, but if you are calling out on a PBX with only a T1/PRI for calls attached to an 800 number, can you call another 800 number?

Should not be a problem unless the PBX is programmed to restrict 1-800 calls.

The only time I've seen this to be a problem is when a T1 is provided strictly for long distance calling directly from the LD service provider. In those instances, outbound calling to toll-free numbers must be routed over local lines.

That's right Ed. Those same LD-only T1s cannot route N11 calls either because the carrier wants to see 11 digits.

Thanks for the info, guys. Turns out our circuit is LD only, so we are bringing two local lines for outbound LCR'ed local and toll-free calls.
