Generally, will using Call Transfer Disconnect feature (trunk to trunk transfer, etc) cause the new called party to get the CLID of the original caller?
In other words, if someone calls a line on my PBX which I have programmed to do a call transfer disconnect to an outside number, will the caller's CLID show up on the called number or my own CLID?
Specifically I'm using Windstream as my provider.
This just just a hypothetical question - does CLID pass through the transfer?

I think it depends on the system. If you are doing a Centrex transfer the CID info will change as soon as you disconnect, if you have the caller on consultation hold, your cid will display. Trunk to trunk transfer without disconnect (like across a PRI) the same thing applies. If it is supervised transfer your CID shows. If it is a forwarded number-like to a speed dial then the system may send the caller cid info, the Vodavi does that with the latest software release.
