Are you really playing something that has different audio on the right and left channels? At any rate, connect to the TIP and RING (Hey, how's about that?!?! Telco related!) Here's a photo by a guy who calls them by the wrong names - (it should be Tip, Ring, Sleeve): ![[Linked Image from carlmcmillan.com]](https://www.carlmcmillan.com/images/StereoPlug2.JPG) The Sleeve is common, the Tip is the Left channel, and the Ring is the Right channel.

Just make a "y" cable yourself. Take the tip from the right & left outputs to the tip of your input & do the same for the ring side. I recently did this to tap into a Direct TV audio source to mute BGM. I ran my homade cable into a V-2001 BGM input, then back out to the sound vendors amp.
Be aware of your output level from the amp, I once burned up a MOH circuit on a NEC PRO Level 1 KSU!

I recently did this to tap into a Direct TV audio source to mute BGM.Connecting outputs directly together with a "Y" cable is not an acceptable practice because it can damage the output devices that drive the outputs. Damage can occur over time and be subtle or it can happen right away. Either way it's not a good thing. Rane's application note Why Not Wye? describes how to do it right. -Hal
