I have an IDS 432 that has been working fine until today.

The second cab seems to have lost the card config in sys.config.

The stations and cos are still programmed but not the card type.

I checked power before and after power supplys,
Swapped out 2nd cab acpu,
swapped out fiber jumpers between muxs,
reseated all cards,cycled power,

has anybody had this happen?

Take a screen shot of both cabinets NOW. Before you do anything else. Also back up.
My guess is that you've lost communication between the cabinets - does LAN Diagnostics screen indicate that they are communicating? There's a troubleshooting section in the tech manual that goes over this issue. Good luck

Thanks

LAN diagnostics shows cab 1 tx at several hundred but no rx from 2

cab 2 shows all 0's and comes back with no response at the bottom.

Probably one of the muxs?

Fiber Mux is where I'd start. Re-seat again, swap fiber cable again (make certain that ends are clean). Make sure cabinet A Tx goes to Cabinet B Rx. If none work, throw hardware at it. Remember that there is a DIP switch on Fiber Mux card that designates the cabinet number. It is REALLY important that it be correctly set...

Swapped out fiber mux in cab 2,problem continued.

Then took original from 2,changed dip switch to cab 1 and it worked.

Problem was mux in cab 1,thanks
