HI! I am trying to figure out the best way to make am output from a new amp work for the Bcm 50 MOH , it will be supplying continuous music to ceiling speakers so the headset output is not optional, i have a Recording line out which has music coming out from the tuner amp, i beleve the output impedance is around the 100 ohm with 2 volts peak to peak max output, and i have 4-to 16 ohm speaker out put to try to use , which is easier ??, Can i use a bogen WMT-1a on the out of the line record jack to match it to 600 ohms ?? Can this Bogen matching transformer be used also for the 4 to 16 ohm speaker output to convert to 600 ohm??

Use the recording line out, and listen to the result. It may match well enough. If not, put 2-200 ohm resistors in line, 1 on tip and 1 on ring, of the recording line out, levels will probably be OK, and BCM will 'see' an impedance of 500 ohms. (IF you want to get really close get the 200+ ohm resistor closest to 250 ohms without going over 250 ohms.) These resistors can be 1/4 or more watt. If it seems low, remember that MOH is really only to re-assure the caller that they have not been dropped.

Many Thanks L>>>Horse, I thought it would be matter of trying to match the resistance , wasn't sure ,, i will be installing it tomorrow and will let you know how it works . :thumb:
