Need a door chime for a nursing home that is adjustable volume and if possible a schedule to cut out user error( ex . Loud during day, lower at night automatically)Anybody got any ideas?

how about a Viking SR1? I can't think of anything that would change the volume at night automatically.

A timer could operate a relay that chooses between a loud one and a lower volume one.
