Has anyone used these PagePro IP units? I'm trying to find a solution to rig an existing single-zone paging system to a SIP call server. I'm trying to find if this unit will automatically start the audio feed when dialed, or if it requires the user to press a zone or initiation button. Ideally, it would answer when called and do the live page, that way it could be added to a page zone on the server to page the same time the phones do.

Valcom has some great stuff, I went to a seminar over the summer. I'd say to give them a ring, they are one of the most helpful manufacturers out there.

The PagePro IP series may be overkill for your application. I would recommend using our VIP-801 (Single Port Network Audio Device). It is SIP compliant and should register as a SIP endpoint with your SIP server. Once accessed, the VIP-801 will automatically activate its analog output.
