I have a frozen operator terminal that needs to be restarted. I heard the easiest way to do this is to identify the port from another operator terminal and cycle through the speed for the down port. Unfortunately, I forgot how to navigate there... Thanks for the help.

I found your old post from Sept. on this issue (there's a search option here...in fine print) here's your post:

Thanks mForrence and JJ. UPDATE: The problem ended up being the Port. I reset the port by cycling through the speed (bits per sec) back to 9600. That brought the other operator terminal back online. I checked for the port by going to System Programming; selecting O, then “I” to increment to the proper operator. Once I had the port number, I reset the speed in System Programming by going to the port and hitting return until I was on speed. One beep and the terminal was back up.

You can also reset the phone system.


If all else fails, use a BFH.
