Hi I was wondering if someone might help me from having to make a 100 mile trip to measure this. I have a ML-8000 still in use for a emergency I.C.
at a naval test site . They want me to interface it to a Meridian 1 so that there command post would not have to have 2 sets on there desk. Well I seem to remember that a ML-8000 is 24v "a bat."
not 48 correct? According to my Nortel specs a Univ. Trk card accepts -42 - -52.5 VDC . This is more political then technical what I want to do is build a I.C. group in my Nortel they call them DIG and eliminate the ML-8000 which I installed 20 years ago but will say never had a problem . But I would sooner have 1 piece of failure then two thx for the help.

Tothe best of my memory it was -24v A Battery. It was very rare to find a Key System Power Supply with 48 Volts on it.

But it's been ages and I won't swear to it.

But if they want an emergency Intercom and the Nortel dies - what do they have if you put all your eggs in one basket?

We just found a old power supply in the warehouse and it does say "A" battery so that answers that.
The nortel has been very good to us running 5 9's
but yes I do agree about don't remove it if it ain't broke they don't like the idea of 2 sets on there desk but want us to remove the Norstar and install the shiney 3904's instead that is what I meant by political . Thanx for the verify this sit seems like it will very informative and fun
