Hi,
I was just wondering if WECO made a 1A2 KSU that was equal to the ITT 76A. I am not biased against the old ITT stuff, but I am leery of the spinoff ITT company, Cortelco.
Saw a photo of the 76A and Arthur mentioned it in thread about my green speaker that I cleaned up and polished, so it peaked my curiosity.

WE's Comkey series of systems was about the closest comparison, but it wasn't even close. It came in a 718, 1434 and 2152 version. Aside from the 400 series line cards and perhaps the interrupter, there were no cross-compatible parts.
Note: The Comkey 416, while in the same family, didn't provide nearly as much in the way of capacities, but features were comparable.

The Comkey was a nice system, but IMHO it wasn't close to the 76A.
I installed quite a few of the 76As and still use one of their Call Announcers as a Door Box on my 1A2 system at home (tied to a 401 card).
