The phones in my company has 9 Lines but Line 6 and line 9 are the same number, how do i remove line 9 from the system because i checked the phone system and it just has 8 CO LINES.. Does anyone know how to remove it or any advise on it..

yea call the phone company and have them remove the fwd off line 9 to line 6 that is the only way to have 2 numbers on one line...

I thought it was a phone system issue because i called them and they said that was a phone system programming thing..

The line 6 says trunk 753 and line 9 also says trunk 753 while other lines have different trunks

on a CTX you can only have 8 lines. so 753 is line 6. the phone company handles the 'rollover' or 'hunting' feature

Thanks for reply back .. Something funny is happening. I did a test by calling my cellphone on LINE 6, now if i press LINE 9 it picks up LINE 5 automatically but if i hang up the phone and then pick up line 9 it picks up line 6 automatically..

check your button progamming on that phone i am guessing that you have 2 buttons with the same directory number on it.

Everybodys extensions are doing it.. Yes, you are right something about the directory numbers..

OH what you think is line 9 is a pools line key! it is like press 9 for an outside line. you have a 26 button display phone. if you press f3 then that 'line 9' button it should show 108, trunk group key.
