Got this Coral III that I have integrated with a Kirk Telecom (Sprectralink) Wireless Z-1500 analog integration. The problem is that the wireless handset somtimes does not ring. I have called the wireless handset to test the ringing and it always rings when I test it. The wireless manufacture says that all they are looking for is the 90V. The Coral III RPS settings are: 16/20/25 Hertz at 75/85/105 Volts AC. I have checked the RPS and it is set to 20 Hertz which is supossedly 85VAC. The voltage coming out of the test points is 70VAC. I tested the voltage out of the 66 block and that reads at highest 56VAC. I am unsure if I should just adjust the output at 20 Hertz to increase the Voltage output from the RPS test points to 90VAC or change the RPS to 25 Hertz on the RPS. I don't want to blow any circuitry or cards. I am also looking into the the rining signal being sent from the Coral. Is the STDB the only place to find the single line signal being sent by the PBX? Any help is "GREATLY" appreciated!

Is it possible the handset is not communicating with the base when this happends? I have never have issues with Tadiran analog ports and ringing, well unless the RPS was turned off or fuse blown.

HI We install a lot of kirk systems and have them working off a Coral III as well. The Coral will nearly always take up to 2 ring cycles before it starts ringing on the Kirk phone. We have also asked Kirk to explain why and they say it just does and there is nothing we can do about it. It also happens off other systems as well not just the Coral

Connect to the Dect 1500 with the admin program (need a null modem cable) then in the CCFP setup tab, test the Ringing Mode option for both Exchange and System ringing. Also run tests with the Ringing frequency.
If the handset is ringing sometimes, I would think the voltages are ok. I assume you are testing in a situation where we are known to have available channels, so I am not considering the possibility of a busy base station.
