More to the point, you can remove cards from the system with it on as long as it is not the cpu card. That might cause some issues;)
The station cards and sli cards can be pulled out and reseated without losing any information, they just can't receive calls while they are out.
Personally I pull the amphenol cable before I pull the card. Gives me more room to maneuver the card, but totally up to you.
ACD is Automatic Call Distribution.
You can use whatever file name ext you want, we used to use sysname.pgm for system program, sysname.acd for ACD(IF you have the Option)
systemname.lcr (again, If You have LCR)
and systemname.acc for Call Accounting,(If you have it)
Side Note: Backing up a Very Busy system during peak times can Slow down the system, also when doing a Restore, You should unplug all the amphenols. one other thing about Restoring, Slow your baud rate down to 4800.
