Hi folks, I have been using my Emerald ICE with flash voice mail for about a week now. I really like the system but I am having problems getting the auto attendant to answer calls. I can get the voice mail to answer for my ext. 401 by programming fwd no answer to UCD group 253 and I get my personal mailbox greeting and can leave and retrieve voice mails both internally and on external calls. I have read the ICE Flash Voice Mail installation and programming instructsions a couple of times but I don't see anything obvious. I have initialized the voice mail and set the PBX integration for the ICE but still have the same problems. My day greeting is set to normal day greeting #1 and CCR #1 for all 8 voice mail ports. I also don't see the option for the number of rings before the auto attendant answers the call. I have worked with quite a few voice mail systems but this one seems a little different. Any suggestions would be appreciated. nectec

you need to set 253 as an answer position in the trunk programming on the ICE. I would set it as the night answer point, so you can use night service to turn it on and off.

You can also use the UCD groups set the overflow timer to like 12-15 seconds, the the overflow destination to be 253. Set co line to be answered by 230(UCD group 1) in the day and 253 Voicemail in night.
