Have you tried replacing the power supply?

No we havn't changed the PSU's. Its 3 cabinets and the problem is not specific to 1 cabinet. Might have to look at that.

Hook your butt set to the power and listen for the buzz.

The thing is we can't make it happen. It just appears about every 30 to 40 days. We will have to wait till it happens again. Don't know what else to do.

We have the same problem with similar config. We also changed power supplies and ground. We replaced cabinet and did an upgrade. We have no IP and NO PRI and T1. We know it is a backplane issue but did not narrow down. We have a WICMC wich we moved to different slots. Are you generating timeslot errors when this happens? I am starting to think it is traffic on th 8TC's All systems with PRI's do not have the problem.

I have a similar static issue in a single shelf IPx 500 except this system statics the UcMC announcements and vm's every 30 days or so. It requires a restart to eliminate the problem. We have somewhere around 50 of these systems and only 2 have this problem. We recently upgraded one of the MCP's to 15.84 so will see if that makes a difference.
