I have a customer with an IPX500. Incoming DID pointed at a SLT hooked to a fax.CF/busy to a second SLT hooked up to a second fax. The problem is on large fax transmissions, occasionally all the pages won't make it thru. As a test, we tried sending 15 pages from a third fax on the system to the fax "group". Every 4 or 5 transmission won't make it. Double checked and Multi-Appearance is off.
Does anyone know of a setting or issue with fax transmission thru a 500?

Set the SLT to Modem but it sounds like a slipping digital circuit to me. Open up DIDBG and see if you are taking hits on that span AND/OR that you are synched to the proper synch slot in DTDB.

Another thought to rule out the IPX just call extension to extension to see if it goes through.

We tried faxing from a third port on the system with the same symptom. On the modem, are you referring to the IP_Modem setting?

Problem appears to be clock related. System was clocking off itself, which I am told is not that reliable for multipage fax transmissions, even internally.
