I have an Executone Medley phone system. I have just updated the name assigned to an extension on the phone system and added the user to the directory. When I dial externally and enter their extension, I get the message "That extension is busy" and immediately get transferred to the operator. DND and forwarding are both turned off.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
Thank you, Sarah

Is the phone plugged in?
Sorry, I have to ask.
If you can read this, you're in range.

Yes, it is plugged in. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in and that didn't seem to help either.

You have access to Installer level?
check to see if Auto-Attendant Block is enabled?
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..
