We just recently took over voice services for a customer who has a Sprint Protege LTX that is fed by a CAS-T1 E&M Wink circuit using Feature Group D. We are delivering a CAS-T1 from an Adtran TA908E. We are having issues with Path Code Violations and Line Code Violations that increment into the thousands. This is causing all calls to drop after a certain amount of time passes. I am trying to get more info regarding the T1 specs that the PBX requires. The PBX vendor who currently manages it does not have any info regarding this. We have replaced the RJ48C cable twice and that has not had any effect. We have played around with the line build out (attenuation) and have not had very much luck there. I have been scouring the web trying to find this info and came across this forum. Can anyone shed some light on this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Tim Clark

Dean,
I didn't get your message. I was able to fix the LCV and PCV errors by switching from AMI line code to b8zs. We were under the impression that CAS T with RBS did not allow for b8zs, but it appears to be working now.

Yes, The Protege works best with Wink Start E&M and B8ZS.
