We got the line code violations and path code violations on the CAS T1 line fixed, but the issue the customer is having with some calls echoing the reps voice back into the handset is still persisting. The response from the PBX vendor is that the previous T1 from Time Warner did not have issues so the problem must be with our equipment. The PBX is fed by a CAS T1 with b8zs line code and ESF framing. There are some options we can play with regarding RTP tx gain and rx gain. I wanted to see what you guys think.
Thanks in advance.

so you are trying to hook up to a 15 year old (or older) system.
On their previous circuit they didn't have any problems but on new circuit there are issues.
I would rule out the PBX as being at fault. Not trying to sound like I am comeing off as a pain in the butt, but I think this is clearly a T-1 issue. We have a catagory specifiaclly for T1 CSU DSU issues. you may be able to get a little more feed back if you post there.
You mentioned LBO adjustments, have you reverted all settings back to default and changed the line code and framing only?

The LBO is now set back to short (full attenuation) and we are no longer seeing path code violations or line code violations on the T1 (now that line code is b8zs). The PBX vendor did state that when Time Warner had hooked up the previous circuit they were having issues with echoing on calls, but Time Warner was able to adjust some settings on their end and get rid of the echo. The echo is only heard by the rep that is using a phone hooked into the PBX. It also does not occur on all calls. It happens on local and long distance calls. I am wondering if maybe the transmit gain is set too high and person A's voice is too loud on person B's phone and the mic is picking up the voice from the earpiece and sending it back to person A. We just sold them an all-voip solution (Allworx), but we would like to get this echo issue resolved in the interim.
