We have a Sprint Protege CTX KSU (K32US4.F06) and ProtegeVoice SVP-4.

The system has already been configured by a phone technician. The phone technician has programmed a keyset feature key as a night key. We switch from day service to night service manually each day by pressing the night key.

Unfortunately, the night key no longer switches to night service after about 3-4 months. It seems like the programmed keyset feature key as a night key gets amnesia every 3-4 months (i.e. pushing the night key does nothing). When this happens it defaults back to day service mode. Of course, voice mail is still functional.

We need some guidance on how to reprogram the night key.

Thank you kindly for your help.

Ken.

F63 is the code for Night Switching.

1. Keyset is idle or in use on a call.
2. Press the Function key and then dial # 3.
3. Press designated feature key to which to program feature.
4. Press soft key F3 below the word “chg.”
5. Press soft key F2 below the word “feat.”
6. Press the Function key and then enter the appropriate feature code number.
7. Press soft key F2 below the word “save” to
save selection.

Also the code for looking up codes is Function, #, 5.

Hope this helps. It also on page 72 of the Protege Display User Guide.
