I have two sites one has 3.0 the other has software 2.5.1x43 both have a PRI ver 1.2. I have the same carrier at both locations and Caller ID is turned on thru the carrier at both locations.

The CID option is turned on both CPU's however the site where caller id is working also has the ANI option, it is also the site with 3.0. The site with just the CID option and v2.5.1x43 doesn't.

Is it the ANI option that I need to make caller id work with 2.5.1x43 or do I need to upgrade to 3.0 as well?

I found an old note stating that you do need ANI option for CID Number Only on a PRI. It's been awhile since I did one of these so maybe someone else could confirm this.

I do know that you need Eclipse 3.0 and PRI Firmware 1.3 for CID Name and Number. ANI Option is a Standard Option on Eclipse 3.0.
