Brain fart, what is the key command to insert a new extension? ex. when the line is busy, forward the call to xxxx extension. I forgot how to type in the extention. The terminal just beeps back at me.

One other thing. This allowed me to forward all call to an assistant, but the phone at the person's desk (the one with the extension I just configured) still rings. Is there somewhere else in the system that needs to be configured so calls only ring at the assistance desk? Thanks again.

or is it just a matter of having the person (with the ext. in question) press the C/F key on his phone?

Hard to say a ringing group pickup key on the original phone for the assistants phone could cause this.If you have set forward all calls the original set shouldn't ring anymore on that call but another condition could cause it to.
