Verizon will be heading out into the horizon after "The New at&t" buys them in five years. Price fixing will no longer be an issue since they will be a monopoly again. They will even be more HUGE since their territories will then include GTE territories and numerous wireless networks.

Well it's in the beginnings here in SD. With the verizon buyout of altell, SD with the exception of sioux falls was down to verizon. Then verizon needed to find a buyer for the altell carrier here, and well that was at&t. They have plans on being completely switched to their network by fall 2010.
