Soon Northern Electric > Northern Telecom > Nortel will be just a memory.. Shame. I have some fond memories of working on SL1 systems back in the 1980s

I think Avaya purchased the PBX side of Nortel. The Ericsson part is a whole different animal, such as how Verizon purchased Alltel (which was part of Nortel.)
