Not really. Iwatsu Electric is still Iwatsu, the manufacturer of the ECS. Icon is the name of the American subsidiary that now is the exclusive distributor of Iwatsu Products to the American market, made up of former Iwatsu America employees.
While the difference may seem small on the surface this move allows Icon to distribute other manfacturers products, as well as the ECS. Plus they still have the full backing of Iwatsu Electric.
