I am experiencing troulbe setting up to access a CO from a single line phone. Single Line Phone manual says to use 9+trunk number (in this case 10,02), but it does not seem to work. It must be the way I have the trunking set or some thing. We have 2 CO's and I assigned first CO to Trunk 01 and second to Trunk 02 so I could select which CO to pick up but I just get a busy signal. If I enter Prime Line as 01 or 02 then when I pick up that ext. I get an open line with no dial tone and dialing results in no actions. I am running a ACPU card in a 108 Cabinet with Eclipse 2.0.0 firmware. Also if i try to access CO by line number (7+8+Line Number, in this case 01,02) nothing happens, no dial tone no bust signal. :bang:

Not sure as I was not aware of this, where do I look and what do I look for, I assume it whould be on the A Screen but don't see a place for that unless it is under Keys there and then I am LOST as I am just starting to figure that stuff out.

PVJ; After reviewing my manual I think what you are refering to is on page 403-26, but I thought this was just for flexable key assignment and I have no flexable keys on a single line phone. What I am trying to do is get a Fax machine to access an outside CO so it can send a fax. If there is more to these keys please let me know.

What I would normally do is assign trunk group keys or LCR keys (usually at least 2 per sli extension) to the sli extension.Although these phones do not have "physical" buttons, they need a spot in programming to allow the call to come to the extension.Try it.
I don't know what version of the manual you have but look at 403-19 under LCR keys.Read it close. Also take a look at the M options screen.SLI extensions can work different depending on the setting of some system options. There are alot of little things that can affect something else on this system.Take a look at 200-136 Alternate dialing and you can see what effect this option has on sli extensions.

PVJ; Tried that, On a OPX SLI card 1st ext. Keys were set to "0300 S 0001" on 4 keys and this did not allow access, also tried "0300 S 0002" and "0300 S 0020" none allowed access all I get is a busy signal. Line Acess for Lines 01 and 02 are set to Y on A screen. Not sure what I'm misiing but it won't allow access to outside line with the 91 or 92 from single line phone.
Thanks Bill

LCR keys on the ACPU are 300 (100).You should be able to dial 9* from a sli and it should access trunk group 1 if LCR is not installed.Reread my post above as I did edit it.Fro prime line set the prime line to 901 for trunk group 1.You need to make sure the trunks are assigned to a group on the B screen. It's a great system to work with but it does require a good knowledge to get everything the way you want it to work. Eclipse is your firmware level.8.X was the last non eclipse version.

PVJ; Right as rain, tried the 100 and it now allows acess to the CO's thought LCR would not effect it, so I wasn't even looking in that section of the book.
Thanks A Million
