I've got a client with an executive suite setup, and none of their clients are able to dial 411 for directory services. It has been tested with the LEC, and it is not the carrier.
Any suggestions on programming on where to locate the issue? Thanks.

they must be still using the 'LCR' option?
Need to add it in the LCR dial tables
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..

Which type of Executone system are they using? Once we determine the type of system it will allow us to correctly answer your questions.

It could be restricted as well.If the offices are not supplying their own dialtone I know I'd restrict it as it costs money every time it's used right?Look at the Toll restriction tables.

Our technician says it is an IDS 228-432 Actually I think that is the manual part number. I have not had luck locating a manual yet except for $270. That can't be right can it?

It's an executive suite setup, but it has not been intentionally disabled. it's a recent issue apparently, but they want their clients to have access to 411 services.

We have the manuals available on CD-Rom for MUCH less than $270. For a hard copy, $270 is not surprising. Intertel, which owns the rights to the Executone manuals, is very picky about who can sell them. We pay them a licensing fee for the privilege. You can buy the manuals by following the link in my signature.

I actually found your site and downloaded before I saw your post. Great service, and I'm sure I'll be back for more. Thanks again!

Guru, If you did not find the answer, I added 411 to our W - Toll Restriction menu, and it works great! So I think pvj is correct. We had folks that were too lazy to pick up a phonebook and felt we should pay the phone company $1.25 per 411 call.
We also had all toll calls restricted on a particular group, with a few area codes allowed. Now with our calling plan we allow all domestic calls. But still not 411!
Hope this helps.
