I have a client located in Plano Texas thaat has an Executone IDS 42. I have an external MOH device plugged into the system on the rca port and the volume on it turned up as well on the unit and the little screw terminal thing by the port. the MOH still don't play when put on hold. Can i program the system to activates external MOH from a phone or does it need a computer with terminal software to do so? Please help ASAP.

System programming is accessed via laptop.
I think each line needs to be told moh-y.

by default the MOH should play.... please note the volume control mounted next to the RCA jack works opposite of what you would think. turn counter clock wise to increase.
