I am trying to connect new PRI circuits to my 648. Paetec is the providor. We ae using N _ Fast ?? Two PRI circuits will use 1 D channel Any one know how to make this work ? The second D channel will be a backup in case the first goes down.

The specific name for this type of configuration is NFAS (Non-Facility Associated Signaling), and is also referred to as NFAS Groups, and PRI Groups. I'm unfamiliar with PRI NFAS procedures for Executone-Isoetec systems, but at least wanted you to know the specific name for this.

Frankie...

The "D" Channel will only support the 23 channels on that card.
Each PRI Card requires a separate “D” Channel.

So Walt...Are you saying my system cant handle this configuration. Or is there a way I can provision my cards for the second D channel to be the backup.

Frankie...

I could not find any information that would support your application.
The last Product Update from InterTel (February 2003) clearly states the software requirements, hardware requirements and feature restrictions for the IDS PRI installation.

We currently don’t have any sites using this format.

I found that the Executone line does not support NFAS configuration on PRI circuits.

if you still need help let me know.
NFAS is supported and there is a code in ACPU that activates it. In debug you need to modify a code called PRI_NO_NFS to 5A,5A and it will fix the problem. If you have Eclipse 3.0 ir higher siftware that option is in CTL C then N screen in 3rd column or so.
let me know if I can help with anything else

Executone super tech.
