Can I restrict an extension from being able to page? Receive is ok, I want to restrict them from being able to make pages. IDS 228

The only way I know, "disable' the #6 on the dial pad...but, then it won't be able to dial anything with a 6 in it.
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..

Internal or external or both? You could restrict external by using a co port to page and denying access to that co port for a particular extension.Internal,no.

one other quick thing you can do is in the M screen there is an option that changes the page zones from 2 digits to 3 so your normal zone 60 becomes 600 and 61 becomes 601. this will work for a while till they figure it out.

Build a toll restriction table restricting the use of 60 or any zone you want to restrict. Then at the Day COS and Night COS fields on the Timers section of Station Programming, assign the table on the first digit of the COS (ie. I f I normally have a toll restriction table 002 and I just restricted paging on 9 then the new COS will be 902).
This only applies to ACPU ver 6 and above I beleive.
