Our company has been using the IDS84 for quite some time. The need has arisen for changes in the auto attendant. We want to re-record the greetings and provide additional options. We also want to add a few extensions to the group of lines that ring from outside when the system is in night mode.
Can the system be programmed using the operator console or do I need to use Procomm with a laptop? We have a spare console in the closet... could that be connected to program?
I am also unaware of the password that was setup. Is there a way to reset the password or some ideas to try?
I found a place to download the manuals for the IDS systems. Will I need to find the manuals for the VXC as well to program the auto attendant?
Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I answered one of my questions: the operator console works just fine for getting into the system. If I can reset the password, I'll be able to move forward.
