This is an IDS 228 with two T-1 cards (not PRI). I'd like to route outbound local (7-digit) calls to one T-1 and long distance calls to the other T-1.
Can I do this? Right now all calls are going out one of the T-1's irregardless of whether it's a local or LD call.

Thats what LCR was for...it was an option that was built based on different carriers. Long Time ago.

Does that mean that without LCR it's impossible?

If you can dial out directly on the T-1(I can't remember anymore)
You could set up two different groups of lines and then put 2 different Line-Group keys on the phones, tell Mr.Customer this button is for local, this button is for LD...
